Jessica Gonacha Swift
I am an artist and surface pattern designer in Atlanta, GA, but I'm originally from Boulder, CO. I've loved color and pattern ever since I was a little kid, and I remember wanting to be an artist when I was in kindergarten. I made teeny books and carried them around in a backpack with a ladybug on it. My mom sewed it out of denim for me and I loved it. Also, I hope one day to live part of the year on a houseboat in Amsterdam, because that is my favorite city. All those bikes! It would be amazing to be an artist in Amsterdam. But for now I live with my husband and kitten in Atlanta.
What inspires your work? Plants, people in strange outfits, traveling, trees, odd color combinations, memories, books....
My style is colorful, quirky, and youthful, and also quite optimistic.
