Aaron Hogg
Aaron Hogg is a New Zealand based Illustrator & Designer.
After stints as a motionographer, art director & as a graphic designer for the street/fashion industry he launched his studio Ministry of Aesthetics in the spring of 2005. The company now boasts a wide range of clients from New Zealand & abroad including: Adidas, Flow Snowboards, Kona Bikes Co., Westbeach Snowboarding Apparel, Adio Footwear, Omatic Snowboards, The Allyance Clothing, RJ Reynolds, DC Comics & Chalkydigits NZ Clothing.
Inspiration: Pop culture, family, animal & human behaviour.
I'm a bit of a chameleon in my day job for Kona Bikes so that often spills into my work making it difficult for me to pin down one easily identifiable style. I am probably most comfortable creating works which are a mish mash of real & fantasy elements tied together with complex organic linework.
